Editor,
I believe the Planning Commission had it right regarding the ban on short-term rentals and the Council not voting it in, has it wrong now.
I hope at least two other council members will join Rob Zur Schmiede in his view that the ban would protect property values and keep family neighborhoods quiet and safe.
I am tired of calling the Laguna Police at 2 a.m. because of loud and out of control beer parties, which I have had to do.
I can assure the council, that if it happened next door to them would have more empathy and see that Planning had the best plan all along.
