Breakers lost their opening game in the Newport Elks tournament dropping a 3-2 eight-inning contest to Brea-Olinda. Sawyer Chesley had two hits in the game while pitcher Eric Silva took the loss. Blake Burzell picked up the win on Saturday in Laguna’s 6-2 win over Fullerton. Grady Morgan’s three hits and Jake Booth’s two runs batted in led the Breakers.
