Breakers won their ninth in a row on Thursday, Oct. 26, as they defeated Dana Hills 12-9 to conclude the regular season. Breakers are seeded fourth in the Division 2 playoffs behind the top seeds, Foothill, Corona del Mar and Agoura, respectively. Play opened Thursday, Nov. 2, against the winner of the Dana Hills -Santa Barbara match. The winner of the game at Laguna on Thursday will advance to the Saturday quarterfinals, most likely facing Redlands East Valley, a team the Breakers edged 9-7 Oct. 20. Semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 8 and the finals Nov. 11. The top four finishers will advance to the state regional tournament Nov. 17-18 at the Corona del Mar/Newport Harbor pools.
