Cade Baldridge scored off a Connor Hauer pass to break a 4-4 second quarter tie as the Laguna Beach Breakers held off a tenacious Montebello squad 12-8 to win the Division 3 Southern Section CIF boys water polo title Saturday, Nov. 22.

Laguna, it was their third section title in their 51 seasons of the sport, winning titles in 2010 and 2011.
Jack Dodson capped his senior career with four goals, two steals and an assist. Aki Anderson added three goals, and a pair of assists and steals. Also scoring were Jacob Colliday, Connor Hauer, and Trent Sadler. Cade Baldridge finished with two goals, an assist and a steal while Garret Hartley recorded 12 saves in the cage. Laguna finishes the year at 25-6 while the Oilers finished at 24-5.
