Breakers continued to steamroll through the Orange Coast League with an 11-0 win over Godinez for their third consecutive shutout victory. Jack Loechner, Grady Morgan and Sawyer Chesley each had three hits while Blake Burzell pitched five innings striking out eight. The team’s consecutive shutout innings reached 26 the past week, just three short of the school record set in 1997.
Laguna will be playing in the Ryan Lemmon tournament beginning March 31 with most games at Windrow Park in Irvine.
