A concert featuring Laguna Beach High School students, faculty and alumni performing classic rock and current music is planned for Friday, Oct. 3, at the Artists Theatre.

The 6:30 p.m. concert helps raise funds for the campus newspaper, The Brush and Palette.

Student tickets of $5 will be available in advance from staff members at lunch, Monday, Sept. 29 to Thursday, Oct. 2. Tickets of $10 for students and $15 for adults will be sold at the door.

“Months of preparation and forethought go into this annual show, so it’s great to see everyone who plays a part validated by those in attendance,” said journalism adviser Jim Brusky. “I really hope the community comes out to support these hardworking kids.”

The donations will assist production of the physical paper, support enrollment in summer training camps and expand student growth through online and video reporting
