Each year the Laguna Beach Community Clinic receives about a dozen cash gifts via Center for Car Donations, an organization that collects unwanted cars, sells them at auction and returns the profit to specified recipients.

“We try and offer our supporters many different ways to give to the Clinic, giving through Center for Car Donations is one of our more creative options,” Development Director Monica Prado said in a statement.

Clinic board member Dr. Marion Jacobs, a big believer in giving locally, saw an opening to share this giving opportunity when her friend, Adel Martinez, was considering the purchase of a new car. “As my car got older I began to wonder what was involved in donating a car to a non-profit organization. The donation process turned out to be quite simple and I’m very glad I did it and urge others to donate locally, and especially to consider making the Laguna Beach Community Clinic the recipient,” said Martinez.

For more information on how to donation your car visit the Clinic’s website at www.LBClinic.org or call Monica Prado at 949.494.0761 x.134
