In the article titles Author’s Research Unearths a Family Treasure , Feb. 27., the author learns, at age 17,that her Jewish heritage had been kept secret not her family’s German lineage. Further, his relatives did not pay for his ticket to American when he was 19, but instead vouched to the U.S. government that they would support him when he arrived in America thus making it possible for him to get a U.S. Visa.
