Director Plans for Additional Position in Costa Rica

Pacific Symphony Music Director and local resident Carl St.Clair, who celebrates his 25th anniversary with the orchestra next year, has accepted a one-year appointment in Costa Rico.

St.Clair will serve as music director of the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica beginning in 2014. The post is in addition to his commitment to Pacific Symphony.

St.Clair is scheduled to conduct six concerts in Costa Rica and intends to establish a conductor mentorship and master class program.
