The Laguna Beach City Council is accepting applications to fill three openings on the city’s Environmental Sustainability Committee. The seven-member advisory body researches, reviews and advises the city council on items related to protecting the environment and improving the community’s future sustainability.
Regular meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. Meetings may be two or more hours, and often require preparation time. Committee members can expect to put in 10 to 15 hours a month.
All applicants will be interviewed at the regular City Council meeting on July 15 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 505 Forest Ave. Applicants must reside in Laguna Beach.
Applications are available online at www.lagunabeachcity.net or in the city clerk’s office and must be filed by Tuesday, July 8, at 5 p.m.
