
“With budgets still shrinking and wish lists perpetually growing, we will continue to try and support all of our hard working student athletes by making available funds to be shared by all of their teams and facilities,” said Greg Hexberg in a statement, noting that the principal and athletic director identified the most important and relevant use for the $25,000 gift. “We are honored to support these kids, coaches and programs as they continue their search for excellence,” he said.
Previous gifts provided for training equipment in the weight room, additional bleachers around the pool and much-needed lockers for the girls’ softball team and dance program.
“By providing extra and much-needed resources to the athletic program, they are helping to continue the tradition of excellence we have all come to associate with LBHS,” SchoolPower President Samantha Washer said of the family’s gift.
