Back by popular demand, The Lonesome Travelers return to the Laguna Playhouse for one week only, Aug. 28 through Sept. 2.
There are only nine performances Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Thursday and Saturday matinees and a special 4 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Tickets are $40-$70 and may be purchased through the Laguna Playhouse box office at 606 Laguna Canyon Rd. or by calling (949) 497-2787 or online at lagunaplayhouse.com.
The Lonesome Travelers, nine singing and multi-instrumentalist artists, performed locally last year, and was described by the Indy as “a hit you can believe in,” and earning rave reviews from the Los Angeles Times and Stage Scene LA.
Says Laguna Playhouse Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham, “Our audiences had a deep and beautiful connection to the music, and we had many requests for a return engagement.”
All from the previous Laguna run will be back. They are Justine Bennett, Brendan James, Sylvie Davidson, James Webb, Trevor Wheetman, Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper, Justin Flagg, Anthony Manough, and Jennifer Leigh Warren.
