Explore the opportunity to become a tidewater docent by attending a training session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Dana Point’s Ocean Institute followed by on-site training at the tide pools.

Help preserve Laguna Beach’s rocky coastal habitat and educate the beach-going public about the rich natural resources by volunteering once a month for a three hour shift.

Results of Town’s Health Survey Announced

The public is welcome to learn the outcome of a phone survey about community health needs by Mission Hospital at two sessions on Friday, Jan. 10.

The results will be discussed in English at 3:30 p.m. at the Susi Q Senior & Community Center, 380 Third St., and in Spanish at 6 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club, 1085 Laguna Canyon Road.

The goal of the forums is to share and validate the phone survey findings, identify any missing health and quality of life issues, and prioritize them according to resident concerns.
