Brunch Welcomes Four-Legged Friends
Friends of Laguna Beach Dog Park host their annual fundraiser, My Best Friends Brunch, Sunday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tivoli Too!, 777 Laguna Canyon Road.
For $25, two-legged folks and their four-legged friends can enjoy brunch, mimosas and Jason Feddy’s Beatroots Beatles cover band.
Guests can also win raffle prizes, check out the Pet Rescue Center’s pet adoption booth and purchase dog park swag.
Purchase tickets at the door or online. Proceeds underwrite benches and shade trees for the dog park, Rescuing Unwanted Furry Friends, the Pet Rescue Center and the Woman’s Club promise to buy a police dog.
Concert Benefits New Mountain Bike Team
Students from the Los Rios Rock School will perform at a benefit Saturday, Nov. 8, for the Laguna Canyon Riders, a newly established Laguna Beach non-profit that supports mountain biking and open space preservation.
The $20 per person event fundraises for the Laguna Beach Interscholastic Mountain Bike Team, with riders from Thurston Middle School and Laguna Beach High School.
The event at 2495 Laguna Canyon Road will include live performances by other special guests, food by La Sirena Grill and a live auction.
