Artists interested in seeking a $5,000 grant for an inspirational project meant to foster innovation must submit their applications by Feb. 7, announced the Laguna Beach Alliance for the Arts.
The grant winner is announced alongside the Alliance’s presentation of annual Art Star awards, scheduled for Sunday, April 6.
The grant is open to both creative artists (including choreographers, composers, playwrights and visual artists) as well as interpretive artists (including dancers, instrumental and vocal musicians, and actors). The winner have 11 months to complete their project, and the body of work will premiere at the 2015 Art Star Awards.
