Hero Fest Recognizes Local Standouts

The fifth annual Laguna Hero Fest, hosted by Laguna Beach’s nonprofit My Hero Project, recognizes local heroes working to effect positive change and local students who have produced art and short films in honor of their role models and celebration of the community.

The event will be held at Seven-Degrees, 891 Laguna Canyon Rd., on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 5 p.m. All are welcome, but RSVP to 949 376-5964.

Besides showing a selection of hero-themed films, work by students from the Boys and Girls Club local professionals will also be showcased.
