In celebration of National Trails Days, Irvine Ranch Conservancy and OC Parks welcome the public to experience Limestone Canyon at Wilderness Access Day on Saturday, June 2. Attendees will enjoy self-guided access, hiking, biking and equestrian use on designated trails from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Limestone Canyon trail routes will vary in distance and level of difficulty ranging from an easy one-hour walk to an adventurous 15-mile hike. Visitors will be able to view “The Sinks,” coined Orange County’s mini Grand Canyon, in a 10.5-mile round trip hike over moderate terrain.
More info: register on-site at the Augustine Canyon Staging Area or online at http://www.irlandmarks.org/activities/ . Online pre-registration is recommended.
