Church Flows With Christmas Cheer
Laguna Presbyterian Church will be spreading Christmas cheer again during Hospitality Night in downtown Laguna Beach, 5-7:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, 415 Forest Ave.
Come for coffee, cider, and holiday cookies and join the rose garden Christmas carol sing-a-long. The Children’s ministry presents a “Living Nativity” in Tankersley Hall, and an art exhibit will be displayed in the youth center. The sanctuary will be open for quiet reflection.
Opportunities to support church ministries such as Heifer International, World Vision and the MOM’s Group childcare program will be available through gifting and the sale of food and beverage items, including the famous La Playa tamales. Laguna Presbyterian Church is located at at the corner of Second Street.
Lighten Up Kindling Chanukah Comedy
Lighten Up!, Chabad of Laguna Beach’s annual Chanukah comedy night, will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m., featuring comedian Mike Preminger, and local singer-songwriter Jason Feddy, at 30804 S. Coast Highway.
