Join Women’s Cancer Research Foundation of Newport Beach for its upcoming annual benefit, “Celebrate Hope Cure” on Sept. 8 from 4-7 p.m. at Santa Ana’s Lyon Air Museum. All donations go to cancer research funds.
Recently, WCRF received two grants totaling $75,000 from the Bama Works fund of Dave Matthews Band. The nonprofit group, which features four Laguna natives and physicians – John Brown, John Micha, Lisa Abaid, and Bram Goldstein — was launched in 1999 and strives to find cures for gynecologic cancers.
