Laguna Beach residents Karen and Jon Jaffe extraordinary commitment of time, talent and treasure to end the cycle of domestic violence earned recognition recently by Human Options, which assists abused women, their children and families rebuild their lives.
The couple received the spirit of philanthropy award entitled “Healing Hearts – A child’s journey from fear and sadness to joy and hope.” Theartists are children ages 0-17 living at Human Options’ Second Step residential facility. The award was part of the children’s art exhibit displayed at Costa Mesa’s City Hall.
