Please preserve the character of our community.
To set the facts straight, those of us who are speaking for the silent majority against short-term rentals in Laguna Beach are not asking for a total prohibition; we only oppose having them in our residential areas. Keep the short-term rentals in the commercial zones where the hotels are. We have given up most of our town to tourism and are not willing to give up our traditionally single-family residential neighborhoods to tourism as well.
