Laguna Beach surfers competed in the Western Surfing Association West Coast championships held recently in Oceanside, with Travis Booth coming away with the title in the under 18 division.
In the boys divisions, Hudson Saunders competed against those under 12, and placed third and George Williams in the under 16s and placed fourth.
In the girls division, Tess Booth competed against under 16s and placed third.
Booth’s second-place finish at the contest along with points he had accumulated for the season gave him enough points to win the season title, according to parent Don Saunders.
