Disturbance. 31900 block of Coast Hwy. 7 p.m. Two 18-year-old from Huntington Beach, Joseph Anthony Farfan and Michael David Moody, who had alcohol and glass on the beach, were arrested for outstanding warrants.
Burglary. 1900 block of San Remo Dr. 9:30 p.m. Jewelry worth $30,000 was discovered missing after a house was tented for termites.
Tuesday, Jan. 13
Trespassing. 300 block of Forest Ave. 9:45 a.m. A transient sleeping in the post office lobby was arrested for outstanding warrants.
Detective activity. 23400 block of Via Iglesia. 12:21 p.m. Narcotics investigators arrested Joshua Riesche, 23, of Laguna Hills, for suspicion of marijuana sales in Aliso Viejo.
Disturbance. 600 block of N. Coast Hwy. 6 p.m. A 40-year-old man was cited for misdemeanor shoplifting.
Fraud. 600 block of Brooks St. 8:36 p.m. A resident discovered someone had opened three credit card accounts in her name and made charges in Illinois.
Vandalism. 1100 block of Skyline Dr., Summit Drive, 400 block of Hilledge Drive. Police received three separate reports of portable toilets at construction sites being tipped over. No suspects were located.
Thursday, Jan. 15
Burglary. 2900 block of Terry Rd. 9:15 p.m. Someone attempted to gain entry from a balcony.
Friday, Jan. 16
Vandalism. 1100 block of N. Coast Hwy. 9 a.m. Nothing was taken, but two windows were broken in a vehicle.
Grand theft. 700 block of Wendt Terrace. 11:44 a.m. Ten silver bangles worth $2,000 were stolen from a bathroom where contractors were at work.
Detective activity. 1400 block of N. Coast Hwy. 4:40 p.m. As a result of an undercover investigation, Christopher Michael Mann, 27, of Borrego Springs, was arrested for suspicion of marijuana sales. Mann tried to flee, dumping a backpack and jumping in the ocean, but later returning to shore, the police log says.
Drug activity. 15-00182. 600 block of N. Coast Hwy. 6:56 p.m. Detectives seized 6.72 grams of methamphetamine and arrested Eric Higgins, 30, of San Clemente, for suspicion of sales. Friend and driver Adam Alexander Guzman, 25, of Bonita, was also cited for drug charges.
DUI. 2500 block of S. Coast Hwy. 11:12 p.m. After a vehicle driven by Holly Robison, 34, of Laguna Niguel, hit a parked car, she was arrested for suspicion of DUI and held for $10,000 bail due to a prior offense.
Saturday, Jan. 17
Traffic stop. 200 block of Forest Ave. 12:49 a.m. A 21-year-old Lake Forest woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic stop. 300 block of Thalia St. 1:31 a.m. A 21-year-old San Clemente woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic stop. El Toro Rd. 2:20 a.m. A 49-year-old Lake Forest man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Vandalism. Through St. 8:43 a.m. Someone attempted to gain entry into a car and left a kitchen steak knife embedded in the car door.
Burglary. 300 block of Mermaid St. 2:33 p.m. Two skateboards and a sweatshirt worth $450 were taken from a car.
Sunday, Jan. 18
Traffic stop. Glenneyre St. 1:59 a.m. A 24-year-old Orange woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Burglary. 1400 block of N. Coast Hwy. 9:47 a.m. A guest says $65 in cash was taken from her room.
Vehicle burglary. 20200 Laguna Canyon Rd. 4:30 p.m. park ranger. Items worth $700 were taken from a vehicle.
Vehicle burglary. 1100 block of Cliff Dr. 5:41 p.m. A car window was smashed, but nothing was taken.

Traffic collision. 200 block of N. Coast Hwy. 2:26 a.m. A 40-year-old Orange woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail after her car knocked over a planter in the driveway of a hotel.
