Editor,
Remember during the long winter months of the recession when residents of Laguna were being asked to shop locally as much as possible to
help keep local businesses in business?
Most of us did.
Wouldn’t it have been nice of business to make the effort this summer for locals, who fighting traffic, finding a parking spot and then a
table, find a notice on the menu that ‘locals with a Laguna DL’ receive 10% off their bill’ in thanks for all their support?
This also applies to all the other shops that depend on locals during the off season.
Residents put up with traffic, congestion and dirt visitors leave behind during the summer so that hotels, galleries, etc. can make a profit.
Maybe support and ‘thanks’ should work in both directions. Just saying.
