Metrolink Adds Ducks Express

Special weeknight train service to Anaheim will be offered at all Orange County stations beginning with the Ducks home opener on Friday, Oct. 14.

 

Round-trip service south of Anaheim for weeknight home games starting at 7:05 p.m. and 7:35 p.m. Round-trip tickets for the special train service cost $7 for the general public, $6 for seniors and $4 for youth ages 6 to 18.

 

All valid Metrolink fare cards also will be accepted on these trains. A free shuttle to the Honda Center from the station will be provided.

 

For a limited time, participants will receive a free Ducks game ticket with the purchase of two Metrolink Ducks Express tickets. To be eligible, tickets must be purchased on OCTA.net, at the OCTA store or via phone at (714) 560-5932.

 

Heading to the game, northbound trains will depart Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo station at 5:50 p.m. and in Irvine at 5:59 p.m.  All regular stops on Metrolink’s Orange County lines will be made along the way to the Anaheim station.

 

The train is scheduled to arrive 40 minutes prior to the first puck and will depart 30 minutes after the end of the game from the Anaheim Metrolink station, in the parking lot of the Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The last train leaving from the station is at 10:09 p.m. and can be held up to 10 minutes for games exceeding time.
