Jeremy Stefan Megroz
Jeremy Stefan Megroz, 40, peacefully passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 in his home with his wife at his side.
In April 2008 Megroz was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gherig’s). His courageous journey came to an end 3 1/2 years after his diagnosis.
His memory will live on in the spirit of his daughter Eve, 2-year-old later this month. For the past three years, Megroz resided in Norfolk, Va.
Born and raised in Laguna Beach, he was the owner of Z Pizza restaurant, which his mother co founded.
Megroz was preceeded in death by his mother Suzi Megroz and his survivors include his loving wife Shannon Clifford Megroz, daughter Eve Jacqueline Megroz, father Rene Megroz, grandmother Paulette Barraga (Mamette), father-in-law William Clifford and mother-in-law Jaclynn Clifford.
A private service will take place in France as Megroz wished to have his ashes laid to rest alongside his mother. Friends may offer condolences at www.nationalcremationsociety.com
