I went with my family to the Laguna Beach High School football game Friday, Oct. 27. My oldest boy attends there as a ninth grader. I was so pleased to find the football team following Old Glory onto the football field, showing their patriotism.
It is very important that our young students develop good citizenship and patriotism. It was wonderful.
As a Laguna Beach resident of 30 years, I am very proud of the staff at the Laguna Beach School district, the staff at the schools El Morro, Thurston, and Laguna Beach High School, and the excellent job our LBPD police force and LBFD fire force perform every day.
We are all so lucky to live in a such beautiful small beach town with such great schools, police, fire and city government.

On another note, my wife gave me the go ahead, to run for the U.S. Senate in California in 2018. I am Libertarian.

That’s good to hear because their first game of the season, which was a Home game; they forgot the National Anthem.
