Marine Mammal Center Elects New Members
The Pacific Marine Mammal Center board elected Linda Wolcott to chair its executive team, consisting of Robb Mead, Nancy Bushnell, and Vicki Tales.
Other board members include Carolyn Berndt, Ruben Flores, Mary Ferguson, Kathryn Burton-Gray and Ken Frank.
Museum Gains New Supporters
Laguna Beach residents Keith Swayne and Emil Monda have joined the Laguna Art Museum’s board.
VFW Elects Officers
VFW Post 5868 and its women’s Auxiliary held elections last month. Commander Arnie Silverman reported the election of the following officers: Frank Daniel, Dick Whitaker, Kim Skelton, Vic Rodriguez, Norm Abbod, Ed Merrilees, Pete Sandro and Bill Kremer.
The following auxiliary members also were elected alongside President Sandi Guzman: Dorothy Twomey, Nancy Nicely, Jackie Heddlesten, Toni Abbod, Emily Wheeler, Shirley Wickham and Gigi Blount.
