I was delighted to see that there was an article in last week’s Indy on the airplane noise and that City Council is involved in finding a solution to the new flight path over Laguna Beach. However at the City Council meeting both Toni Iseman and Rob Zur Schmiede emphasized that they need the public’s help. Without documentation and critical mass of citizens complaining they cannot make their case strongly to the FAA. So please – anyone who is affected by this change of flight pattern and the resulting noise, please call the FAA in Long Beach at (562) 420-1755 then O for Operator and register your complaint. Additionally, please send Toni Iseman an email at [email protected] so staff can compile a list of the number of complaints to prove to the FAA that we are serious. Newport Beach is doing the same things and they are more organized. So where do you think the planes will fly? Probably over the town that doesn’t complain loudly enough.
