The Laguna Playhouse welcomes comedienne Rita Rudner with her new show “Rita Rudner: Out with the Old, In with the Rita,” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Rd.
Rudner delivers hilarious and witty observations on everyday life, with sharp timing, in her trade mark soft voice.
Singer-songwriter Molly Bergman, Rudner’s daughter, will open the show, which promises to be a memorable family event. Twelve-year-old Molly plays piano, guitar and ukulele. In 2014, she performed at several gigs and recorded her first video for her original song “Get Your Orange On.”
She will also be opening for her mother on Saturday, Dec. 27 at Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas and then on New Year’s Eve at the Laguna Playhouse.
The Rudners lives in Laguna Niguel.
