We took our grandchildren to Moulton Park the late afternoon of Dec. 31. Our grandchildren were terrorized by two large, unleashed dogs that charged them. We were assured by the owner that the dogs were friendly. These were two of the many unleashed dogs that day.
I am continually amazed by the number of dog owners that apparently believe the leash law does not apply to their very special animal. I know from personal experience that good, nice, cute, sweet, kind, pretty, large and small dogs can and will bite.
Can it really be that important to break the law and unleash your dog if there is even a 1 percent chance that it could maim a child for life?
