Breakers opened the season on Tuesday, Feb. 27, dropping a 13-2 contest to Saddleback Valley Christian but came back on March 1 to defeat Santa Ana 7-0 at the Saint’s field. Emily Thomas had three hits, scored twice while Cienna Wunder had three runs batted in. Thomas also pitched the shutout striking out 11.
