Last week the squad went 1-2 with a pair of tough losses. On Tuesday, March 6, the Century High Centurions rallied to edge Laguna 3-2 at the winner’s field in Santa Ana. The following day Laguna defeated Orangewood 11-1 as they banged out 18 hits and Emily Thomas recorded 11 strikeouts. On Thursday, March 8, Westminster rallied from a 4-1 deficit to defeat the Breakers 8-5. Top hitters so far this season are Cienna Wunder (.667 with 12 hits) and Madilyn Garwal (.625 with 10 hits).
