Laguna Beach and local resident Kirk Morgan host a beach volleyball tournament which ultimately crowns the king and queen of the court.

The all-day men’s tournament volleys on Saturday while the women serve on Sunday. Players play in a round robin format, where they play with a different partner each game.

This is very challenging for the players as they are forced to adapt to many different playing styles, and typically only the most fit and skilled players win, said Morgan, who invites the public to come and see the best regional beach volleyball players vying for the title of “King or Queen”.

Check in each day is at 8 a.m. at the south end of Laguna Main Beach. Questions call or text Kirk Morgan at (714) 381-4000 or email [email protected]
