Traffic stop. Circle Drive. 1:12 p.m. Joey Brian Caban, 18, of San Clemente, stopped for making an illegal turn, was arrested for allegedly violating his probation and possession of a methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Bail was set at $20,000.
Fraud report. 1403595. 200 block of Broadway St. 1:33 p.m. Janina Laree Calloway, 35, of Pasadena, was arrested for allegedly trying to obtain hydrocodone with a forged prescription at a pharmacy as well as burglary. Bail was set at $20,000

Detective activity. 500 block of Dyer Rd. 11:11 a.m. Cab driver Emil Rosini, 51, of Costa Mesa, was arrested for assault and held for $25,000 bail, suspected of punching and kicking a fare on Aug. 29. The 44-year-old Laguna Beach resident suffered visible injuries.
Vandalism. 1200 block s. Coast hwy. 12:46 p.m. Three vehicles of guests were keyed overnight at a private lot at Cress and Glenneyre Streets.

Grand theft. 600 block of S. Coast Hwy. 4:33 p.m. Jewelry valued at $3,550 was taken from a hotel room four days earlier.
Traffic stop. 300 block of Cliff Dr. A 32-year-old Dana Point woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.

Traffic stop. Montage resort. 1:13 a.m. A 58-year-old Laguna Beach man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Drug activity. 600 block of Park Ave. 8:34 p.m. Two 16-year-old boys in possession of a small amount of marijuana were detained by police and likely will be charged with possession of pot for sale and receiving cigarettes.
Traffic stop. Cleo St. 11:40 p.m. a 23-year-old Mission Viejo man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.

Pedestrian stop. Brooks St. 12:05 a.m. A 36-year-old Laguna Beach man was arrested for alleged possession of a small amount of cocaine and held for $20,000 bail.
Traffic stop. Pearl St. 12:14 a.m. A 69-year-old Lake Elsinore man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Welfare check. West St. 1:15 a.m. Hector Vincent Melero, 37, of San Diego, who was standing in the middle of Coast Highway, was arrested for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after police located meth in his pants pocket and paraphernalia in his car.
Traffic stop. 200 block of Mountain Rd. 2:14 a.m. A 24-year-old San Diego woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Traffic stop. Park Ave. 2:26 a.m. A 22-year-old Rancho Santa Margarita woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Fraud report. Bay Dr. 8:50 a.m. A resident learned someone opened a credit card under her name.
Domestic violence. 2000 block of S. Coast Hwy. 12:40 p.m. Christopher Hugh Bowman, 31, of San Clemente, was held for suspicion of assault and battery and held for $50,000 bail. Police were called to an argument by a couple checking out; officers noticed visible injuries when they arrived.
Suspicious. Top of the World school. 1:02 a.m. A patrolling officer spotted a car in the parking lot occupied by three Costa Mesa teens; one was detained for possession of a small amount of cocaine and being under the influence and the others held for curfew violations and possession of alcohol.
Public intoxication. 1400 block of S. Coast Hwy. 11:41 p.m. A 53-year-old Laguna Beach man was cited for DUI ad held for $2500 bail.

Public intox. 400 block of Seaview St. 5:56 a.m. Andrew Barrett, 35, of San Diego, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and held for $15,000 bail.
