Burglary. 300 block of Forest Ave. 9:59 a.m. Someone opened a locked back door and took $200 in cash from a business.
Traffic collision. Virginia Way at Fifth Ave. 6:42 p.m. A 7-year-old girl on a scooter fell in front of a turning vehicle, but investigators are unsure if the child was hit. She was transported for a medical exam.
Tuesday, March 24
Fraud. La Senda Dr. Noon. Detectives are investigating who wrote a promissory note of $110,000 against a Three Arch Bay home without the owner’s knowledge.
Vehicle burglary. 31100 block of Coast Hwy. 4:34 p.m. Beach goers returned to their vehicle to find the rear window smashed by a rock and $4,500 in valuables missing.
Traffic collision. Glenneyre St. 9 p.m. A 54-year-old Laguna Beach woman was cited for a misdemeanor DUI.

Fraud. 300 block of Pinecrest Dr. 8:25 An unknown person twice attempted unauthorized access to a resident’s financial accounts.
Burglary. 600 block of Loretta Drive. 9:42 a.m. A resident away for several months returned to find a forced rear window and a jewelry case missing. Losses totaled $245,000.
Grand theft. 100 block of Sunset Terrance. 1:55 p.m. A Rolex watch and other property valued at $15,000 was reported missing.
Found property. Cleo St. A skateboard ramp stolen last week was found on Gaviota Street and returned.
Vandalism. 300 block of Broadway St. 8:13 p.m. John Leddy, 39, a Laguna Beach transient, was arrested for suspicion of felony vandalism after shattering a glass door by allegedly throwing a rock. Bail was set at $20,000.
Friday, March 27
Traffic stop. Beverly St. 2:12 a.m. A 25-year-old Irvine woman was cited for DUI.
Fraud. 400 block of Shadow Lane. 10:13 p.m. A resident reported her credit card was used twice last month on fraudulent transactions that totaled $8,750.
Fraud. 600 block of Nyes Place. 11:12 a.m. A resident reports receiving letters about credit applications in his name that he did not make.
Petty theft. 300 block of Jasmine St. 6:40 p.m. Detectives are investigating the apparent theft of water from a homeowner, who received a $1,095 bill.

Traffic stop. 2500 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 1:14 a.m. A 38-year-old Mission Viejo man was cited for DUI.
Grand theft. 1500 block of S. Coast Hwy. 10:58 p.m. A camera, merchandise credits, leather jacket, dress and purse were stolen from the pool area.
Traffic collision. Bluebird Canyon Dr. 11:36 p.m. A 64-year-old Oregon man was cited for DUI.
Traffic stop. 600 block of S. Coast Hwy. A 38-year-old visitor from Italy was cited for DUI.
Traffic stop. Mermaid St. 1:58 a.m. A 22-year-old Dana Point man was arrested for DUI.
Traffic stop. Calliope St. 2:10 a.m. A 24-year-old Laguna Niguel man was cited for DUI.
Grand theft. 800 block of Cliff Drive. 1:30 p.m. A resident suspects a roommate in the theft of his $1,200 computer.
Pedestrian stop. Beach St. 4:25 p.m. Delia Arredondo, 24, of Santa Ana, was arrested for suspicion of marijuana sales after police witnessed what appeared to be a drug exchange. Jesse Vergara, 18, also of Santa Ana, was cited for suspicion of possessing a narcotic without a prescription.
Vehicle burglary. 31100 block of Coast Hwy. 6:51 p.m. A Coach handbag and wallet valued at $2,400 was stolen from a vehicle where a window was smashed.
