The Rotary Club of Laguna Beach recently honored Jared Boetes as the Laguna Beach High School’s Student of the Month for November. He was honored with a certificate of recognition and will receive a scholarship at the Honors Convocation at the end of this school year. Jared was accompanied by math instructor Gary Shapiro.
Jared is active in the high school organizing fundraisers as president of the Mission Hospital Club. He is on the varsity tennis team and a member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation.
Outside of school he is the president of the student doard at Mission Hospital Laguna Beach and a member of the election board at California Boys’ State.
Following graduation he plans to major in business in London, pursuing an MBA.
