Laguna Beach’s Blue Lagunas soccer team managed to keep their 14-month unbeaten streak going this fall, with a first place finish in the AYSO Extra League for girls under 11.
The local girls, 11-0-1, competed with teams from 24 cities in the county, scoring 49 times over 12 weeks and allowing only four goals.
“We’ve had an amazing run so far,” says coach Kent Pachl. “It has been incredibly rewarding to see these girls grow in skill and self confidence over the past eight seasons,” added coach Ole Nielsen.
The Blue Lagunas play in the section championships Dec. 8-9.
