A majority of the votes cast in a recent election by the Temple Hills Community Association approve a revision in the bylaws, proposed to bring them up to current law, according to an announcement by Douglas Cortez, an association member.
Of 134 votes cast, 111 votes favored the bylaw changes and 23 votes were opposed. Sixteen votes were disqualified due to missing or out of area addresses or duplicate ballots. Ballots were counted by an inspector independent of the current association officers and a majority of the quorum approved the update, he said.
