Laguna Beach resident and Napa Valley vineyard owner Steven L. Contursi has released the first production of his Arrow & Branch winery, a 2008 red blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot and malbec, as well as a sauvignon blanc from the 2010 vintage.
Only 62 cases of the red wine, priced at $125 per bottle, and 204 cases of the white, priced at $35, were made.
“Since purchasing the vineyard from Mr. Soter in 2007 we have spared no time or expense in further improving the quality of this unique, organically-farmed vineyard. We have created beautifully layered Bordeaux style wines,” said Contursi, president of Rare Coin Wholesalers in Irvine.
