The Laguna Board of Realtors will hold their 18th annual Pet Parade and Chili Cook-off at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Tivoli Too, 777 Laguna Canyon Rd.

while pet owners of all ages can enter their pets to win a title in six categories.

Activities for children of all ages are included in the ticket price of $5-$10. Sponsorship opportunities are available; contact Nancy Pooley at 949-230-3353.

 

Dog Walkers Receive a Garden Invite

Tour the Hortense Miller Garden with your pet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Owners and their well-mannered dogs will meet at Riddle Field in Boat Canyon and be guided up to the garden. Light refreshments will be served.

The event is limited to 20 people and reservations are required. Call Marsha Bode at 949 244-2010 or email [email protected] for more information.

 

Blessing of the Dogs

Local dogs will have their chance for redemption at 11:30 a.m. at the dog park on Saturday, Oct. 4, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, renowned champion of animals and nature.

Friends of Laguna Beach Dog Park will host Father Kenneth Schmit of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, who will do a blessing of the dogs. All canines, and their owners, are invited to attend this free event.
