Learning Silk Painting
Laguna Outreach for Community Arts will hold an Art and Sea Lions workshop on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Pacific Marine Mammal Center in Laguna Canyon.
Participants will view live sea lions, then enjoy a silk painting workshop with Reem Khalil. Beginners are welcome, and everyone will take home a finished fish image on silk.

Focusing on Photography Class at the Senior Center
The Point and Shoot Digital Photography Course with Mary Gulino on Wednesday, Oct. 23, teaches students “tips and tricks for framing, composition, using flash and getting photos sharp and in focus.”

Communicating in Close Relationships Workshop
Local clinical psychologist and adjunct UCLA professor emerita, Dr. Marion Jacobs, is offering a five-week program on Communicating in Close Relationships.
The program is an AAUW-Laguna Beach fundraiser for Tech Trek, a summer science camp for middle school girls from Thurston School.
