Breakers had a tough week losing on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Estancia as the Eagles scored on two penalty shots including one in the closing minutes to seal the victory. Breakers suffered another tough loss on Thursday as Calvary Chapel scored in the second half to earn a win at Century Park in Santa Ana.
This week the Breakers closed out the first round this past Tuesday with Godinez (4-5-6, 1-1-2) in a key match for the remaining league playoff spot then the Breakers start the second round on Thursday, Jan. 29, hosting Costa Mesa (6-8-2, 1-2-1). Breakers will host Estancia (13-2-3, 2-0-2) next Tuesday.
