I was looking forward to reading a report on the squid run that took place a very short distance off our shores during the nights of Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.
It was quite spectacular. On the last night, I counted 33 commercial boats all lit up out there. It looked like a Christmas boat parade stretching from Oak St. south to Three Arch Bay.
In conjunction with the squid run, others told me of seeing a huge pod of dolphin in the area, maybe 1,000 strong. They like calamari!
Unfortunately, none of the above was reported in today’s Indy. Let’s just say you missed the boat(s).
