The current push by anti-car folks to close off part of Forest Ave. is a disaster in the making. Don’t some of you remember the additional traffic headaches caused by just closing part of Third Street for sewer work? That downtown section of Forest Ave. does not only provide a lot of parking for residents and visitors, it is one of the few through roads, even though only one-way for a block, it carries a lot of traffic. Block it off and you only get more congestion and chaos all through town. Want to do something useful, add two lanes to that six miles of two lane traffic hell between ACT V and El Torro.
