Enjoying Gallery Hospitality on Art Walk

Fresh from artist residencies in Paris and Germany, Saltfineart presents “Graffiti Nature: The Nature of Graffiti,” an exhibition introducing paintings by Panamanian street artist Cisco Merel and an artist collaborative dubbed W, comprised of Paz Ulloa and Vinicio Jimenez.

Every first Thursday of the month, Laguna Beach celebrates its art scene on First Thursdays Art Walk with a self-guided tour of gallery openings, artist demonstrations and receptions, live music and other entertainment.

A suggested first stop is a 5 p.m. pre-event reception at City Hall, 505 Forest Avenue, for artists in the city-sponsored Juried Fine Art Exhibition.

All of the events are free to the public and so is the trolley service. Visit all of the featured galleries from downtown to North Laguna’s Gallery Row to Bluebird Canyon Drive to Laguna Canyon Road.

Enjoy the Richard MacDonald “One Man Show” at Dawson Cole Fine Art featuring new inspirations from the Royal Ballet collection.

At Marion Meyer Contemporary Art gallery view “The List Wall Project” by Lisa Lala, a nationally touring art installation inviting art patrons to participate by adding their hand-written wishes.

Artist Corey Smith’s Personal Pyramid, available for demo at his solo art show "Become a Better You," at AR4T Gallery, 210 N. Coast Highway, during Art Walk, Thursday Nov. 3. On display through Dec. 29.

Stop by Seven Degrees, exhibiting work drawn from 50 years of Laguna College of Art & Design students.

Be sure to visit FOA South, within Active Culture, to view selections from the Festival of Arts permanent collection.

Artist Art Guevara is currently featured at Bob Kronquist’s 484 North Gallery, 484 N. Coast Highway, in Laguna Beach.

“Water’s Edge,” by Lynn Welker and “It Figures,” by Marge Chapman will be featured Nov. 2-28, at Sandstone Gallery, 384-A N. Coast Highway. Meet the artists during Art Walk.
