Outing Provides Its Own Memoir
Laguna Outreach Community Arts will host a watercolor workshop Sunday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. at Montage resort’s Treasure Island Beach.
The activity is suitable for children 5 and older accompanied by an adult.
A LOCA docent guides participants around tidepools and artist September McGee instruct on watercolor journaling.
Cost is $35 for adults and $20 for children, including materials. A boxed lunch is provided. Register at 949 315-5996.
Card Creating Workshop Unfolds
The Laguna Beach Recreation Department is offering two four-session workshops as an introduction to Soul Collage, combining image and art to create self-improvement cards.
No art experience is necessary. The classes, taught by Ellie Freedman, will be held on four consecutive Saturdays beginning Sept. 17, excluding Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
