Dance Festival Offers Master Class
Laguna Dance Festival is offering a series of master dance classes beginning with Michael Trusnovec, the most senior member of Paul Taylor Dance Company on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6-8 p.m., in the Laguna Beach High School dance studio, 625 Park Ave.
Enrollment will be limited to 40 dancers and ends Nov. 1. The professional-style master dance class will include a warm-up, company repertoire and a Q&A with Trusnovec.
Cost is $25 per person for the class, $10 to audit the class. Group rates are available. Call 949-715-5578 to sign up.
Creating a Leaf in Copper
Laguna Outreach for Community Arts is offering a beginner-level, Botanicals art class at Laguna Nursery. Participants
can choose from either Thursday Nov. 1 or Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9:30-11am
Horticulturalist Ruben Flores will discuss leaf shapes, and jeweler Karin Worden will lead the art workshop. Attendees will use rolling, cutting and bending tools to create a single leaf in copper, along with a patina finish. All supplies are included, cost is $25 for adults ages 16 and up.

Film Fest Showcases Musicians
The Newport Beach Film Festival will be adding a new music video showcase to next year’s lineup, April 25 – May 2.
Best music video submissions will be open through Nov. 1. Music Original music videos from all genres are accepted. Discounts of $5 will be offered to filmmakers who submit through WAB. www.withoutabox.com
