The 16th annual Chili Cook Off and Pet Parade steps off Sunday, Sept. 30, at Tivoli Too, 777 Laguna Canyon Rd.
The event organized by the Laguna Board of Realtors and Affiliates centers around amateur and aspiring chili chefs, who share their recipes and compete for local fame. All the attendees have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of chili.
Pet owners of all ages can compete for awards by entering their pets in the six different categories: most handsome, prettiest female, most talented, most beautiful rescue pet, best costume and most gorgeous senior (10 years & older) concluding with a pet parade.
Proceeds will benefit three Laguna Beach animal charities: The Pacific Marine Mammal Center, The Laguna Beach Animal Shelter, the Blue Bell Foundation for Cats and Animal Crackers.
