As a gift to the community, art fans Jim Burba and Bob Hayes are underwriting a free day at the Laguna Art Musuem, allowing everyone to forego the cost of admission on Sunday, Dec. 28.
The museum is currently exhibiting the works of sculptor Elizabeth Turk, artist Lita Albuquerque and works from its own collection.
Life Candy Part II Brings In the New Year
Part two of a group exhibit, “Life Candy,” will be on display throughout January at JoAnne Artman Gallery, 326 N. Coast Highway. A diverse selection of artists, Jhina Alvarado, Jana Cruder, Jane Maxwell, and Brooke Shaden are united by an interest in female subjects. Their work in collage, photography and digital formats is sure to incite a dialogue.
The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, or by appointment. Also the first Thursday of every month from 6-8 p.m.
